THE MIAMI BEACH EDITION

This leading luxury hotel creates seamless, enchanting, long-lasting experiences for its guests.

The Culture and Entertainment Department at The Miami Beach EDITION curates programming on the property for hotel guests, members, and residents. The Miami Beach EDITION works with ENSEO, a TV system solutions company for hotels, to manage the in-room TV system display in the guest rooms.

THE OBJECTIVE

ENHANCE IN-ROOM GUEST EXPERIENCE

The Director of Culture & Entertainment was tasked to review and update the in-room TV system display without any SOP or guidance, documents, or resources including the previous copy or content featured. I was tasked as the lead in reviewing, editing, and developing a standard procedure for updating the system display.

RESOURCES

With screenshots of the previous copy and content featured, I was able to draft the updated copy in a Word document. In addition, I organized a Dropbox with updated image files to feature. I also collaborated with ENSEO’s project manager in ensuring all updates were made live. Finally, I referred to similar collateral from The Times Square EDITION and The New York EDITION to enhance the guest experience.

VOICE AND AUDIENCE

In drafting copy for the Monthly Happenings brochure, we adhere to the voice and tone guide and target audience developed by the global EDITION brand marketing team.

FINAL REVIEW PROCESS

In developing the final update to the in-room TV system display in guest rooms, I structured a guideline document highlighting key stakeholders, the review process, and best practices.
