MEMBERSHIP CODE OF CONDUCT

The Objective

I was tasked to develop a code of conduct article that clearly communicates to all users the expectations and standards for behavior on the platform to understand the importance of respectful and constructive interactions, what is considered prohibited behavior, and the consequences for violations.

Resources

For this article, I referred to platforms such as Notion and Figma for reference to outline the Recordical membership code of conduct for inspiration as suggested by the Head of Marketing.

Strategy

I drafted the Recordical™ Membership Code of Conduct to guide users to feel confident in their role in fostering a safe community, clarify behaviors that are welcomed and discouraged, and explain how they can contribute to a positive social environment on the platform, while also keeping the following in mind:

  • Use clear and concise copywriting

  • Use an informative and sensitive tone and voice.

Tools & Review Process

The team tracked deadlines and assignments using Monday.com. The lead content writer completed the first round of the draft’s review. The head of the marketing department offered the final review and approval before publishing.
